CMG Environmental will do a thorough review of historical records of the property, including historical aerial photographs, fire insurance mapping and historical topographic mapping. A thorough review of available government environmental records of the property will be made. Interviews with current and past property occupants, as well as others who might be able to shed light into past or present uses of the property will be performed. A thorough site inspection, including all building interiors and all exterior property and grounds will be conducted.
CMG Environmental collects soil and groundwater samples to analyze for contamination. We collect soil samples by hand auger, backhoe or drill rig depending on site-specific conditions. We collect groundwater sampling from monitoring wells using low-flow techniques. Phase II Environmental reports can also include sampling of soil vapor, ambient air, surface water or sediment.
CMG Environmental has the experience and know-how to clean up a wide variety of soil and groundwater contamination problems. This typically involves interactions with state regulatory agencies and preparing a remediation work plan, then taking action to remove environmental contaminants from the property.
The point of Phase I assessment, Phase II investigation and remediation activities is to properly address environmental problems. CMG Environmental is committed to getting properties from contaminated to remediated. We will prepare the necessary reports to satisfy state requirements and achieve regulatory closure.
